That is THE question right now. So, what is all the hype about? There is a TON of information to share regarding green design, so try to be patient with me as I put together blogs on specific topics. The topics I do write about will have websites so that you can go read further if you so choose.
Here are some topics I will touch on, foundations, walls, roofs, rainwater catchment, solar panels, passive solar design, geo thermal systems (yikes, that’s going to be a long one), solar water heating, indoor air quality, indoor environmental quality, home cleaning products, cosmetics, soil, sick building syndrome, chemicals, electricity, and recycle.
An aspect to think about if you are having trouble wrapping your brain around this “tree hugger” green movement, if there is a God and He gave us this beautiful earth why are we not doing more to preserve it for future generations? God says, are bodies are temples, that He made us from the earth, and that He created the earth.
To be "green" or not to be "green"?
I chose to be "green" and also maybe we SHOULD hug a tree if God created it and thank Him when we’re sitting under its shade. :) Just my opinion. Whatever your opinion is or whatever your reason is for deciding to learn, research, and become involved with Green Design and/or green living, I thank you.
Now, I just have to decide which one to blog about first. Any suggestions?
